Sony Ericsson has rebranding their mobile division with the latest name Sony's Mobile Communications. Starting today all the Device Mobile will be launched under the Sony brand, as released by Sony Mobile Communications division.
$ 1.47 Billion Acquisition of Ericsson shares with the amount of the percentage of 50% in the joint venture Sony Ericsson has been closed in January, and they promised to change its image from Sony's mobile division will begin in "the middle of next year,".
The purpose of this Sony's action is to "accelerate the integration process smartphone into a network that is connected to consumer electronics devices," like what they have done to Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) which provides services such as Video Unlimited and Playstation games for mobile devices (such as the newly-announced Xperia S). As a result they get rid of Sony Ericsson's famous logo with the symbol "ball".
